Bernie has developed his own very unique style "I have always loved to sketch with a pencil rather than using the traditional oils and water colours and often found in my early days that a quick pencil sketch looked better with more life and movement than the painstakingly finished painting."
Working as a Designer Bernie very carefully lays out his subject matter so it appears well balanced and so nothing dominates the finished work. He then selects what extends from the borders and by how much to create a three-dimensional effect which has become almost his trademark.At right is one of Bernies Inland studys
